In Fall 2013, Coach House Books launches a new series of original trade paperbacks emphasizing creative nonfiction and lyrical
journalism on a wide variety of cultural issues. At about 120 pages each, Exploded Views books are meant to occupy that space between a magazine essay and an exhaustive tome − not a 45 or an LP, but maybe an EP.

Curated and edited by Jason McBride (Toronto Life, Globe and Mail, Hazlitt), Exploded Views books offer incisive cultural reportage from some of the country’s best journalists.

Coach House takes Manhattan at BEA

From May 30 to June 1, the largest publishing event in North America – Book Expo America (or 'BEA' to those in 'the biz') – is hosted at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, and Coach House will be there. Like every year, the Expo provides booksellers and publishing industry workers a preview of exciting new things happening in the world of books.
