On Saturday, September 12, the Reykjavik International Literary Festival hosts a Griffin Poetry Prize delegation including Jeramy Dodds (Crabwise to the Hounds), Dionne Brand, Robert Bringhurst, Carolyn Forché, Don McKay, Al Moritz, Michael Ondaatje, Robin Robertson and C. D. Wright at Nordic House (Sturlugötu 5). The event begins at 1 p.m.
Coach House author Matthew Tierney is among the winners of the 2013 Trillium Book Awards, Ontario’s prestigious literature awards. Tierney received the Trillium Book Award for Poetry in the English Language category, which carries a $10,000 prize for his third poetry collection, Probably Inevitable.
