Uptown's Quentin Mills-Fenn recently spoke to Jon Paul Fiorentino (Indexical Elegies) about Winnipeg, elegies and his brand-new book of poetry.

'The idea of the elegy as an archive seemed to resonate for me ... I think it allowed me to articulate my personal loss in an artful way. At least I hope that’s what happened. These are not traditional, pastoral elegies. These are texts that distract, defer, revise,and remember in their own peculiar way.'
