Three Coach House authors nominated for Trillium Prize!

Coach House Books is both thrilled and astounded to announce that three of our recent titles were named as finalists for the Trillium Book Award earlier today!

Lemon by Cordelia Strube is a finalist for the Trillium Book Award, while Susan Holbrook's Joy Is So Exhausting and Matthew Tierney's The Hayflick Limit are both finalists for the Trillium Book Award for Poetry! To celebrate, we're offering a 15% discount on all three books throughout the month of June.

The third finalist in the Trillium Book Award for Poetry category is Griffin finalist Karen Solie (Pigeon), while the other finalists in the Trillium Book Award category include Margaret Atwood, Anne Michaels, Alice Munro and Ian Brown, among others.

Winners of the Trillium Awards will be announced at a luncheon event at the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon at the Toronto Reference Library (789 Yonge Street) in Toronto on June 24, 2010. Prior to the ceremony, all the finalists will read in two Toronto events, one at the Reference Library on June 23 (details here), and one at the Toronto Thompson Hotel on June 22 (details here).
