RM Vaughan interviewed in Telegraph-Journal

RM Vaughan talks to the Telegraph-Journal's Kate Wallace about his upcoming Christina Sabat Memorial Lecture (March 26) in Fredericton, 'The Decline of the Baby Boomers: A Case for Cultural Renewal.'

From the interview:

'The comedic thrust is, "Thank God you boomers are old, because you'll finally be out of the way and the rest of us can have some money,"' Vaughan, 44, says. Of course, when he started writing it, before the economy tanked, their bank accounts were generally fatter than they are today.

'I don't want to appear mean,' Vaughan says. 'Gleeful, yes, but not mean.'

But, hey, if we can't laugh, we're really doomed, he says.
