Sina Queyras (Expressway) talks to the Montreal Hour about poetics and sustainability:

'It occurred to me when I was living in New York and working in New Jersey that the modern economy was built on disconnect,' Queyras says, 'and that the American capitalist system believes in the right to interrupt any given exchange to create a further opportunity for charging a fee... The term "expressway" gets at the internationalization of the road system... All roads once led to Rome - I don't know where they lead now, but they all connect.'
