Margaret Christakos has published a novel and seven collections of poetry, including Excessive Love Prostheses, Sooner and most recently What Stirs (Coach House, 2008). She has won the ReLit Award for Poetry and been a finalist for the Trillium Book Award and the Pat Lowther Memorial Award. Margaret has been Canada Council Writer in Residence at the University of Windsor, and currently teaches Creative Writing and Poetry at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. She developed the lecture-reading series "Influency: A Toronto Poetry Salon."
