Coach House Books featured in the Literary Press Group's Handmade Campaign

This fall participating independent booksellers across the country will be featuring a selection of titles from a handful of Literary Press Group publishers in their 'Handmade Campaign.'

With the air abuzz with discussion about the art of the book versus digitization, the Literary Press Group has compiled a list of handmade books to celebrate the way brick and mortar books excel at bringing the reader a special -- and unparalleled -- experience. Anik See's Saudade and Lisa Robertson's Magenta Soul Whip are both on the list.

These books feel good in your hands. We're talking heavy paper stock, intricate design and illustration, over-the-top typography ... all those things that book geeks like us care about on top of straight-up impressive content. These titles are gorgeous inside and out; the bulk of the featured titles being hand printed, offset printed, and derivatives of. Each title was hand-picked by the LPG's very own sales rep, Nadine Boyd, the mastermind behind this timely campaign.
