Kyle Buckley: official meme of the IFOA

The 2009 International Festival of Authors continues, and Coach House has one poet who reads in a couple of the events – one Kyle Buckley, author of The Laundromat Essay. He will read at events on October 23 and 29, and it seems he's become something of a blog reference point for those reporting on this year's IFOA.

From the Globe and Mail site:

'Who is Kyle Buckley? He’s a Toronto poet who will be reading at IFOA on Oct 29. He also managed to be mentioned in two blog posts yesterday. After running into him, again, tonight at the Orhan Pamuk reading, and consulting with also-present blogger Ron Nurwisah, it was decided that “Buckley” would be the official meme of IFOA 2009 coverage. To wit, if you see Buckley at the festival, do say hello, but more importantly, blog about him, Twitter his every move, and start using “Buckley” in any sentence you can.'

And if you happen to be blogging about the IFOA yourself, be sure to throw in a reference or two to Buckley.
