Jeramy Dodds wins Trillium Book Award for Poetry!

Congratulations to Jeramy Dodds, winner of the $10,000 Trillium Book Award for Poetry for his debut collection, Crabwise to the Hounds. The award recipients were announced on June 16 by the Hon. Aileen Carroll, Ontario Minister of Culture, and Kevin Shea, Chair of the Ontario Media Development Corporation, at a luncheon held at the Park Hyatt.

It's been a busy and exciting season for Dodds, who was also shortlisted for the Griffin Poetry Prize and the Gerald Lampert Award.

Winning authors in the other categories are Pasha Malla for The Withdrawal Method, Marguerite Andersen for Le figuier sur le toit and Paul Prud'homme for Les Rebuts: Hockey 2.
