Jen Currin wins Audre Lorde Award for The Inquisition Yours!

Last night, on April 28, 2011, Vancouver poet Jen Currin won the coveted Audre Lorde Award for her most recent collection The Inquisition Yours.

The Audre Lorde Award is one of The Publishing Triangle's annual awards, given annually to the best collection of lesbian poetry. Currin won the award over fellow finalists, Elizabeth J. Colen (Money for Sunsets, Steel Toe Books) and Eleanor Lerman (The Sensual World Re-emerges, Sarabande Books), two other amazing poets. Congratulations, Jen!
