Gary Barwin Takes the Hamilton Literary Award for Best Poetry Collection

Gary Barwin has won the Hamilton Literary Award for best poetry collection. The program recognizes outstanding Hamilton-based writers working in a variety of forms.

Barwin's The Porcupinity of the Stars is at once zany and worldly, playful and sophisticated, and it beautifully showcases its authors musical sensibilities.
