Gary Barwin in the Hamilton Spectator
On November 23, Gary Barwin launched The Porcupinity of the Stars in Hamilton, and the Hamilton Spectator covered the event.
'It was a busy time in the Hamilton literary community last week, with Gary Barwin’s very well attended book launch on Tuesday, and a memorial event in honour of the late Kerry Schooley, who was a dynamic force in support of writers and writing in this city, on the Wednesday.
Barwin’s new book, The Porcupinity of the Stars, is classic Barwin, effervescent with wit, startling imagery and delightful strangeness. Barwin treated his audience to a lively reading. The book is published by Coach House Books and the launch was organized by Bryan Prince Bookseller.'
