Eternal Hydra nominated for 10 Dora Awards!

The Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts announced today that Anton Piatigorsky's play, Eternal Hydra, has been nominated for 10 Dora Mavor Moore Awards in the Independent Theatre division, taking the top spot for nominations.

From the announcement:

'Eternal Hydra's noms include Outstanding Production, Outstanding New Play or New Musical for Anton Piatigorsky, Outstanding Direction for Chris Abraham, Outstanding Performance by a Female for both Karen Robinson and Liisa Repo-Martell and Outstanding Performance by a Male for David Ferry...'

The Crow's Theatre production of Eternal Hydra recently finished its series of Toronto performances. Next stop: Ottawa's Magnetic North Festival for a five-night run, beginning June 9, 2009.
