Darren O'Donnell's Mammalian Diving Reflex shortlisted for a Toronto Arts Award

Mammalian Diving Reflex, the art and theatre company that produces many of the ideas described in Darren O'Donnell's Social Acupuncture, has been shortlisted for the Toronto Arts Award's inaugural Arts for Youth Award. A $15,000 cash prize established by Martha Burns, Jim Fleck and Jim Pitblado, this award celebrates an individual, collective or organization that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to engaging Toronto youth in the arts.<!--newline--><!--newline-->And, as producers of Haircuts by Children, Ballroom Dancing, Beachball41+all and more, Mammalian Diving Reflex has certainly engaged Toronto youth in the arts.
