Coach House announces video contest!

Have you read a Coach House title recently? Did you enjoy it? Hate it? Why don't you tell us how fiercely you loved it or violently you loathed it in video form?

That's right! You can join the likes of Star Wars Kid, Tay Zonday and Maru the Cat and become a bonafide YouTube star when you give a webcam thumbs-up or thumbs-down to a Coach House title. (Ideally, we're hoping you pick a book that's currently available as an ebook as well ... you'll see why ... but we won't discriminate.) Check out this example of a video recommendation from Erin Creasey for Darren O'Donnell's novel, Your Secrets Sleep With Me (coincidentally available in ebook form). You can make something like that, right? And once you do, just send the link to us at mail@chbooks.com. We'll post it on our site, our Facebook page and Twitter feed.

We'll collect video recommendations from November 1 until December 15, when we select a winner and two runners-up, based purely on the interest level of their video clip. (Even if you hate our books, you could still win a prize!) The three winners will receive gift cards from Coach House for $100, $50 and $25 at our online store. Plus, there's all the glory. Don't forget that.
