Coach House announces new poetry board

On December 19, Coach House announced that our beloved Kevin Connolly will step down as our official Poetry Editor. Kevin would like to spend less time writing marketing tipsheets and more time writing poetry (given he is a Griffin-nominated and highly acclaimed poet), so that seems pretty reasonable to us.

And don’t worry. Mr. Connolly will not be going far! We’ve formed a poetry board, which includes Kevin Connolly and fellow poets Susan Holbrook and Jeramy Dodds. The administrative work to the poetry list will be handled in-house by Leigh Nash and Alana Wilcox, while the poetry board will make acquisition decisions and edit the books.

Coach House is currently booked up for poetry through 2013, so unfortunately, we'll be closing the door to submissions until August 1, 2012, at which point our new poetry board will start looking again.
