Brendan Gall Nominated for a Governor General's Literary Award

We're proud to report that Coach House playwright Brendan Gall is among the nominees for this year's Governor General's Literary Awards. Gall's Minor Complications, a collection of two comic, absurdist and existentially fraught plays, is one of five English-language texts shortlisted for the prestigious drama prize. The book comprises Wide Awake Hearts — a meta-ficitonal tale about infidelity, destruction and filmmaking — and A Quiet Place — a claustrophobic parable about two amnesiacs in a doorless room who meditate on the meaning of life.

Well done, Brendan. Congratulations!
