All My Friends Are Superheroes: now in audio form from iambik!

Coach House Books has joined forces with iambik Audio, a new kind of audiobook company, that launched this October with eleven literary fiction audiobooks from independent presses in the U.S. and Canada. This October, iambik launched audiobooks by one giant of American letters, Gordon Lish (including a selection of stories read by Mr. Lish himself); one Pulitzer Prize finalist, Lydia Millet; and a number of new and upcoming writers including Felicia Luna Lemus and J. Robert Lennon.

Most importantly (to Coach House fans) Andrew Kaufman's beloved novel All My Friends Are Superheroes is the first Coach House title to be turned into an iambik audiobook.

Iambik Audio was started by Hugh McGuire, founder of LibriVox, the free public domain audiobook community. But whereas LibriVox helps anyone to make free audiobooks, iambik has strict quality controls and will be selling, not giving away, audiobooks, from iambik.com, and through partner distributors including Audible.com, Overdrive and eMusic.

Here is a sample from the brand new iambik audiobook (for sale for $4.99!):
