Suzette Mayr will make her second appearance at the Vancouver International Writers Festival as part of a roster of novelists whose books depict the inner workings of a chosen community. Mayr's novel Monoceros traces the impact of a teen suicide on the teachers, staff, parents and students at an Alberta high school.
She'll be reading at the "Community Centred" expo alongside Angie Abdou, Farzana Doctor and Dermot Healy.
