Oct 21 | Catch the First of Two Gary Barwin IFOA Readings

October 21, 2011 - 8:00pm - 10:00pm

Coach House poet and sound artist Gary Barwin is known for his dynamic performances. So it's no surprise that he's appearing not once, but twice at Toronto's International Festival of Authors - and he's in good company to boot.

Catch Barwin in a Friday-evening showcase, alongside an international roster, which includes America's Colson Whitehead and Jennifer Haigh, as well as England's new literary darling Sarah Winman. Becky Toyne from Open Book: Toronto will be hosting.

And if your over-active social life precludes the possibility of a Friday-evening reading, be sure to catch Barwin's other IFOA performance on the Sunday following.

The reading gets underway at 8p.m. Tickets are $18 in advance.
