Saturday, October 16 is Independents' Day, a day designed to promote the importance of locally owned bookstores to lively communities.
In Toronto, Another Story Bookshop has invited several local authors to help them celebrate. Cordelia Strube will read from and sign copies of Lemon, her most recent (and Giller-longlisted) novel at 1:30 p.m. David Miller, Jody Nyasha Warner and Michael Winter will also read at various points throughout the day.
