Since its inception in 1996, Calgary's WordFest has presented an astoundingly good list of world-class Canadian and international writers. This year's line up includes Canada Reads darling Marina Endicott, the New Yorker magazine's Patricia Marx, and Coach House
rising star Suzette Mayr, all in the same Friday Night Showcase. Also expect readings by NY Pubic Library Writer-in-Residence José Manuel Prieto, we well as Canadian newcomers Martha Schabas and Brian Francis.

Tickets are $10 and $20. Thanks to onsite book sales by Pages on Kensington, festival goers will be able to purchase their own copy of Suzette Mayr's latest novel, Monoceros.
