Nov 17 | Gabe Foreman Reads at a Quebec Writers' Federation Showcase in Montreal
The Quebec Writers' Federation Awards are among the province's foremost English-language literary prizes. This November, Montreal residents can hear the nominees at Words After Dark, an all-star reading at Paragraph Bookstore.
Presenters include Coach House poet Gabe Foreman, whose whimsical debut collection, A Complete Encyclopedia of Different Types of People, is nominated both for the A.M. Klein Prize for Poetry, which recognizes outstanding achievements in English-language verse, and the Concordia University First Book Prize.
Words After Dark is free of charge. The event begins at 6 p.m., because it gets dark early these days.
