On Friday, February 12, Lisa Robertson (Lisa Robertson's Magenta Soul Whip) will give a lecture titled 'Disquiet' at the the University at Buffalo as a part of the Poetics Plus program. Robertson will be discussing an ambient listening and sound recording practice she is undertaking in Paris, making digital sound exposures at the sites of Atget's photographs of the city. 'Disquiet' speculates on the prosody of urban noise, considering R Murray Schafer, Atget,and Henri Meschonnic. Robertson will give a reading later in the evening at Rust Belt Books.
