Rob Benvie will read from his new novel, Maintenance, on Thursday December first, at Supermarket in Toronto. Benvie will appear alongside Montreal author / photographer / nomad Mark Lavorato, Toronto comic-novelist Shari Lapeña and emerging Dutch-Canadian short story writer Patricia Westerhof.

Benvie's Maintenance offers a sharp, satirical look at suburban alienation, self-help culture and pre-Y2K anxieties during the final summer of the twentieth century.
