Jan 17 | Dave Meslin at the Five Good Ideas Lunch-and-Learn Speakers Series

January 17, 2012 - 12:00pm - 2:00pm

This month's instalment of the Maytree Five Good Ideas lunch-and-learn speakers series will feature urban activist, journalist and Coach House alumnus Dave Meslin, who'll deliver a talk on 'Campaigning for Social Change.'

A dynamic presence on the Toronto scene, Meslin is also co-editor of the Coach House collection Local Motion: The Art of Civic Engagement in Toronto and author of the popular blog Mez Dispenser.

Also, as Coach House fans and non-profit stalwarts know, the Five Good Ideas series itself provided the impetus for a new book, Five Good Ideas: Practical Strategies for Non-Profit Success, which is available from our website and in bookstores.

Meslin's talk will happen at St. Michael's College at the University of Toronto. Admission and lunch is free, although attendees are required to register in advance at fgisocialchange.eventbrite.com.
