Aug 18 | Trillium nominees in Guelph
On Wednesday, August 18, The Bookshelf in Guelph will host a media launch for the 2010 Eden Mills Writers' Festival. Featuring winners of and nominees for the Trillium Book Award (past and present), the event will also celebrate the life of the late Paul Quarrington, who was a good friend to the festival over the years.
Expect great readings from 2009 Trillium Award finalist Nino Ricci (The Origin of Species), as well as from 2010 Trillium finalists Cordelia Strube (Lemon), Alexandra Leggatt (Animal) and Susan Holbrook (Joy Is So Exhausting). The event is completely free, but we will be passing around a hat to collect funds for the enhancement of the festival.
