June is LGBTQ Pride Month, and you know Coach House (unlike some mayors) is keen to celebrate that fact. Coach House has published some of Canada's finest queer writers for decades, but our June Marriage Equality Sale is a little bit different. Instead of focusing on our gay and lesbian writers, we're celebrating marriage equality.
Combining author readings, poetry performance, academic panels on the past and future of LGBT literature and publishing and specialized events for genre readers and writers, the 2nd Annual Rainbow Book Fair will put the snap and sparkle back into book reading. Meet hundreds of authors and publishers and thousands of readers from all over the U.S. and the world.
There's an entire world of literature to be read, and thank goodness for the brilliant translators who make that world available to us. In anticipation of The Sleepworker's October release, all of our currently available French-to-English titles will be discounted on our website by 40% (!) until the end of August.
