Globe and Mail Books columnist Judith Fitzgerald listed her top ten poetry collections of 2011, and among the books was Jenny Sampirisi's debut poetry book, Croak, a frog-and-girl opera of Beckettian proportions. It shared the honour with such titles as Ken Babstock's Methodist Hatchet, Sue Goyette's Outskirts and Phil Hall's Killdeer.
