RM Vaughan

RM Vaughan is a Toronto-based writer and video artist originally from New Brunswick. He holds an M.A. in English from The University of New Brunswick.

Vaughan's critically acclaimed books include the poetry collections A Selection of Dazzling ScarvesInvisible to Predators, Ruined Stars, and Troubled: A Memoir in Poems and Fragments, the novels A Quilted Heart and Spells, and the plays Camera, Woman and The Monster Trilogy. Vaughan's essays, poems, fiction and plays appear in over 50 Canadian and international anthologies. Vaughan contributes essays on culture for numerous publications and is a National Magazine Award nominee and a William Kilbourn Award nominee and a ReLit Award nominee (always a bridesmaid… ).

Vaughan's short videos and video collaborations/installations/performances have played in galleries and festivals around the world, despite the fact that he frequently appears in them himself.
