Patricia Seaman has been active in the Toronto writing community since 1983. The Black Diamond Ring, a collection of short fiction, was published in 1994 to wildly enthusiastic reviews. Her writing (and her vibrant work with collage) is influenced by feminist politics, desire, and unconventional narrative techniques. She is the author of Hotel Destiné, a novella, and Never Forget You Look Great (Parts 1 & 2). Her work has been featured in a number of anthologies and periodicals. Currently, she is working on a novel, Super Nevada. She is on the editorial collective of Tessera and is also a well known reviewer and critic.
